The hotel Le Goyen à Audierne expands! An emblematic institution in Finistèresince the end of October 2024. Soon, more than 1,000 m² will be added to this Breton jewel. This transformation will result in a new wellness area with spa and swimming pool, while visitor capacity will be doubled, without ever interrupting the reception of visitors.

Entrusted to Bleu de Blanc Architectes and Wunder Architectesthe metamorphosis of the Goyen goes beyond a simple extension. The ambition is to create a lifestyle destination deeply rooted in its territory, where Breton authenticity meets modernity. Every redesigned square metre draws its inspiration from the wild landscapes of Cap Sizunwhile meeting the demands of a 4-star hotel.

Design and materials: a tribute to the natural environment

‍

The new spaces awaken the senses as soon as you cross the threshold. Natural materials such as raw oak, felted wool and authentic linen are set off by a play of contrasting textures. Shades of beige, blue and khaki green create a soothing atmosphere, punctuated by vitamin-rich touches to infuse vitality and light. The vintage spirit slips into a few carefully sourced pieces, while nautical touches such as ropes and old maps recall the traditions of yachting harbors.

Spa and well-being: a suspended break

As you enter the spa, the impression is that of a timeless parenthesis. The indoor pool unfolds, bordered by azure mosaics and enhanced by soft lighting. The windows, designed to catch the natural light, reveal the changing reflections of the ocean. The treatment cabins will soon offer a menu of soothing rituals, enhanced by a selection of top-of-the-range beauty products from a soon-to-be-revealed partnership that will enhance each treatment.

Rooms and suites: iodine reflections and absolute comfort

Some twenty new new rooms will soon be opening their doors. Spaces bathed in light, where wide windows open onto the marine panoramas of Audierne harbor.. Sleek, authentic furnishings are combined with noble textiles: woven wool plaids, corduroy cushions, to create a cocoon where calm reigns supreme. Rooms where charm and comfort invite you to relax, while decorative touches tell a seaside story.

September 2025: a new chapter for the Goyen

In September 2025, the inauguration of the spa area, swimming pool and bedrooms will mark the completion of the first part of the project. Le Goyen will continue its metamorphosis, with further new features planned for 2026.
